Ted Tonks, Last Day Of The Holiday || Summer of ‘77
Taken by Charity
"You look so serious! Nothing bad is going to happen to us out there, Teddy. Y’know why? We’ll always have each other, always look out for one another." Ted remembered the exact tone of Charity’s voice when she told him not to worry about the war that was brewing. She sounded so sure that they’d be okay. When he thought back to that moment he wondered if she was just saying it because she knew he was a target, if she was saying it because she believed it, or if she was just saying it because their friendship had always been light-hearted. In the end it wouldn’t matter, they would both die without dignity and in more pain than they ever deserved to have to endure.
